Dear Sleepy-time

"Only in America can a cute black boy grow into an ugly white boy."--Brooke

Hey Sleepy-time, we hung out a lot yesterday and besides that, you're not as cute as she is.

All is well. So busy these days. I can't complain. It's summer break and who would have thought I would have so much stuff going on. However, there is much sunshine and warmth. So good. And I really like my hammock. This past week I've had some really good times in said hammock. I'm blabbering.

Hey Sleepy-time!! you'll have your scheduled time...or something like that.

I need to hang out with sleepy time

"But man, you really freak me out."--Weezer

First of all, no one should ever look into their apartment and see Patrick Swayze on pause on the TV screen. Yeah, that just happened to me about twenty minutes ago. Wow, I will probably have nightmares. I am working a lot. Hooray for on campus custodians. I need sleep.

I just purchased the new Weezer album yesterday. I dig it a lot. The lyrics, the guitars and whatever else they use create the noise I call music. Good purchase. Well, sleepy time just left a message on my machine and was all kinds of cranky that I'm not around much. I need to redeem myself. Goodnight, and please, sweet dreams.

Thought process

"Don't ever stop asking for help, you just might get it."--The Kid

Just watching Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Such a good movie. Now, the thing is thus: it really amazes me how the mind works. Think, consider, decode, create, decide. Lately I've been evaluating what I want to do with my near future. I've been trying to weigh the possibilities and the consequences thereof with a few decisions that I might take a chance with here soon.

My question: what drives us? What is it that makes us take action? Is it because we have a firm opinion on a certain subject? Certain views that we have? The views and opinions of the people we hold dear to our hearts? I believe that there is something there in each of us that makes us go absolutely insane. I just know that sometimes we take something and go with it, throwing out all other considerations. I believe that is how the world works. That is what brings so much good into the world. To finish:

"I suppose if we couldn't laugh at things that didn't make sense, we couldn't react to a lot of life."--Hobbes

Welcome Ethyl

"You're sort of white."--Seth Isaacson

It's been a quite the week. Basically, I've been out of town. Went up to Idaho for my friends wedding for a day and then headed home to Oregon. I would have to say things went well. It has been a while since I have written anything and it now seems weird to me that I am blogging. However, I still think I can get re-use to this. And then my grammer went to pot and I started creating words.

Couple of things to mention. I helped my mom deliver a wedding cake. I haven't done that in a long while. Mostly because I live 540 miles out of town. It is still an activity I enjoy doing with mommy. Second, we pulled the old switcharoo with cars. I gave them Gertrude and I got Ethyl. Ethyl drives so nice and I can dig the CD player. I think on the way home I listened to about 10 albums. And five of which were Weezer. Ah, my music staple. Also, I became a big fan of Maurice's. Got myself a rad green jacket and an "i-rock" t-shirt. Make me happy.

I tell you what, 'tis good to be back in the old complex. Crazy times are about. Especially since I now have a John Travolta type body suit and some teenage mutant ninja turtles masks. Yeah, I'm going to get myself into trouble. Well, things must get done. It's amazing how busy I am now that school is out for the summer. But the thing is that I am working full-time and I'm stocking on the greenbacks. You all are great.
